How to do setup the Mac OS X Mail application to get my AOL Mail.

Set up your AOL Mail account the first time
1. Click the Mail icon in your Dock.

Note: If you do not find the Mail icon in your Dock, you can find it in the Applications folder.

2. On the Mac "Welcome to Mail" window, type your name in the top box, your AOL email address in the middle box, and your AOL password in the last box.


3. At the bottom of the window, click Create.

All done! It may take a couple of minutes for the Mac Mail application to get your mail.

Add additional AOL Mail accounts to Mac Mail

1. Open the Mac Mail application
2. In the upper left, click Mail, and then click Preferences.

4. In the lower left corner of the "Accounts" Preferences window, click the + sign.

5.On the Mac Mail "Add Account" window, type your name in the top box, your AOL email address in the middle box, and your AOL password in the last box.

That's it! It may take a few minutes for the Mac Mail application to get your mail.
Delete an AOL Mail account in Mac Mail
1. Open the Mac Mail application
2. In the upper left, click Mail, and then click Preferences.
